The Tickets will probably be split between phone sales and first come bases at the ticket office

I wouldnt advise anyone wanting a ticket to plan buying over the phone.

They will probably say that phone sales wil be available but it will pretty impossible to get through.  Probably have 1 person on the phones as everyone will be busy dealing with face to face sales.

It's going to be difficult for the out of Towners to get them in person so hopefully the club will  have it covered both ways. Shouldn't be a problem as they have just dealt with around 4,000 Leicester ticket sales in a very short space of time. Fingers crossed.

So did I read somewhere that the temp stand was actually going to be for them but they couldn't get enough interest to put it up?

Yup -

Quote
If a stand was put in place 1,974 seats would then become available for home fans, which would all need to be sold to close the gap for the costs of the new stand. After two months of home tickets selling out and numerous reminders the waiting list currently stands at only 165 tickets, therefore it is a reasonable assumption that the demand for additional seating will not reach the supply.

No, they mean that by putting up a temp stand for us, they could sell the away section plus the 700 odd seats lost by segregation.

Blimey, the WHOLE of Oxford's support inside a ground( bar 165 of them), must be some sort of record?

Can't we all just sit happily side by side and they give us those 700 seats from the segregated area

Not very big, I looked on google maps and can fit the whole thing on my little laptop screen!

Wikipedia claims 12.5k

Cheesy Surely the 165 of them can sit on the fence end - or doesn't that count as being 'inside' the ground?

Would it be possible for there to be some kind of closed circuit feed to the CG for all the fans that couldn't get tickets? Or is that a non-starter?

Some quick maths...

2700/15700 = 17% of capacity
1252/12500 = 10% of capacity

If they were to offer us the same "proportion" of the stadium we did (17%), they would need to give us about 2125 tickets (assuming reported wikipedia capacity figures are correct).

Awesome suggestion... probably won't happen, but worth asking the club!  Pint for that man...

If we could have sold the stratton bank to town fans then we could have done what the scum are. At this moment in time i think we possibly could do it if it was going to be played here. Earlier in the season this wasn't the case
