Had we not been relegated last season, would we still have appointed Paolo?
I think Fitton would have kept Hart to be honest.

I think if that had happened by now the majority of our fans would have committed Suicide.

Not sure Paolo would have come here had we stayed up to be honest. Think the reasonable prospect of a promotion in his first season in management may have contributed to him joining us.

Di Canio "incident" in the referees report according to local rag. Here's hoping the FA go easy on him

I was walking through a graveyard with no lights when I got the text from my dad that we had won it in the last minute. I did more than the fucking monster mash I tell you.
Probably the most inappropriate place I've ever loudly declared my love for Swindon

Wasn't Hart sacked before the end of the season?

Yes, hence Bodin taking two games. Though sacked is a little strong, he had 2 games left on his contract and was released early Smiley

Yes, true but to say Fitton would have kept Hart is historical revisionism of the highest order.

After relegation was confirmed if I recall correctly?

If Hart had kept us up I think Fitton would have given serious consideration to extending his contract.

Well, I'll bet we wouldn't be averaging over 7,000 a game at home with that clown in charge!  The most uninspiring managerial appointment if it had ever happened!!

Just back from Northampton (celebrated New Year and our win at my Bruvs). Just a couple of commennts to add.
Great win and great way to win it !
Alan Mac MOM
Ironic that after the game walking back to bruvs house to hear on several occasions Northampton fans praising Swindons play, fitness and attitude. Plus begrudgingly praising PDC's and Town fans passion. Yet the only slating on the day came from (thankfully a very few) complete muppets amongst our own. Good reaction though from Town fans though and hopefully if Ritchie does venture to read this forum will see he has the backing of most of Swindons support.
3 more points tomorrow please.
