Unbelievably his apology on the FIFA website seems to have made things worse. http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/organisation/president/news/newsid=1544067/index.htmlFirst up it was a half hearted 'my comments were misconstrued', yet his clarification of the comments seem to just repeat them. Worse for me is that they headline the apology with a picture of him hugging and laughing with a black man (fuck knows who he is), obviously to show that he isn't racist. He'll probably blacken his face with shoe polish next. Complete and utter fucking twat. Edit: I see Rio Ferdinand has referred to the posing with a black man picture as a "face palm" moment. |
