Tranmere manager Brian Little reckons that interest in striker Iain Hume and defender Ryan Taylor is inevitable.

"There has been interest in both and I am not surprised," Little told BBC Sport. "The phone has been active.

"There have been calls and conversations about some of the young players at the club but that is part of the football business.

"Ryan in particular has attracted a lot of attention and might well play in the Premiership before next season."

How can he play in the premiership before next season.  Anyway rumour has it that Taylor has left Trannie now, gone to Wigan, where he will play in the premiership next season, not before.

Maybe some sort of mini pre Premiership was starting up before the real thing got underway?.

Reckon he's gone to Wigan for 750K, up to 1.2 million on appearances etc.
