Ah ok. Might get a NowTV trial at some stage then.

Watched 5 episodes of The Serpent on BBC and gave up, Jesus they were dragging it out could have been done in 2 hours tops, don't know why there is this need to bloody drag things out to 8-10 hours!

Missus loved it. I said the same as you. The last two eps were good, but it was so slow and turgid to get there. Should have been a 3 parter, tops.

Seeing this a lot at the moment, particularly with OTT providers like Netflix. There's no limit on air time, so pretty much everything is too long.

Started Designated Survivor at the weekend. Hilariously bad, but brilliant at the same time. So watchable.

Haha. I have up on the serpent half way through episode 2. Think I only stuck with it that long due to Jenna Coleman looking stunning in it.

Didn't know much about her but straight into my top 3. Pretty much the only reason I sat there quietly while the wife watched it.

You could watch the first 2 and last 2 and not miss much, bar the detail around the killings.

The first episode was slow. Think I'll skip the rest then.

Very much enjoing The Handmade's Tale on Prime right now ( 2 eps into season 2). Bit behind the curve I know.

I find it quite amusing that people are moaning about tv series being dragged out too much. Probably the same people who moan about being bored during 'lockdown'

I personally don't mind these things being dragged out, we've just finished the fifth episode and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

JC is good and very easy on the eye but I'm not sure how I feel about the main actor, if he's that convincing as a 'baddie' or not.

That was another thing, the idea seemed to be that he was very charismatic to charm all these people into trusting him etc etc, the actor seems to have all the charisma of a wet fish.

My missus will watch just about anything and even this saw her off, towards the end the main topic of debate was about the actors hair/wig.

I've finished Nurse Jackie(which was excellent by the way) so need something to binge on. I like to go full in and watch loads at a time so thinking 'Parks and recreation' which seems to get favourable reviews or something more gritty like 'Sons of anarchy'. If anyone can recommend something that's passed me by I'll take a look.
