Watched the first few episodes, checked how many episodes were left, saw how many were left and immediately gave up on it. The laws of diminishing returns certainly applied to it.

I'm interested in American politics but the West Wing it isn't.

Just started Designated Survivor.

Any good?
Absolute pish. We started it when it first came out, battled through 1st season on the basis it might pick up, gave up half way through the second and regret giving it that long. Waste of time.

Italia Ricci is pleasant on the eye though.

Finished all 9 episodes of Gangs of London. Some really great scenes and lots of tense and gory moments, but I found a few of the main actors' performances unconvincing and got a bit lost in the plot at times. Would be interested to hear what others think of it. I downloaded it as it's only on Sky Atlantic at the moment I think.

I watched the first episode and found it a bit shit to be honest. Violence for violence sake and the little ginger lad as the main character is hard to take seriously.

It has potential but ultimately was a bit crap. The scene in Ireland with the hit squad was laughable.

Half way through black spot, a French crime drama with a bit of a dark underbelly. Not bad so far

Watched a polish drama called the mire which was standard

Into the night was pretty good, only 6 episodes, Belgium end of world thriller.

Moving onto Hollywood next

Agreed, he was terrible and his performance amounted to an expressionless face or squinty eyes to show suspicion/anger/confusion, and nothing else.

I thought the main copper, played by Sope Dirisu, and the Albanian gang lord were great in their roles. But the Dad of the mayor another terrible casting.

Currently watching Fauda, about a unit of the Israeli Defence Force. I tried to watch it on a stream a few years ago but it was dubbed and I couldn't handle it. Very good so far. Pretty apolitical and really just highlights the horrible tit-for-tat nature of the conflict.

Just finished Devs, another story dragged out over 8 episodes which could have been done easily in 3!

Almost finished Community. They should have stopped after season 4 to be honest. Still watchable and enjoyable but not the same without the likes of Glover and Chase

I don't know whether this is common knowledge and I am late to the party, but I am working my way through Snowfall (3 seasons, all on Iplayer) about how Crack was introduced to the US - i am really liking it.

If you like Narcos, you will like Snowfall, very similar
