Still powering through Community, really enjoying it. Mainly for Alison Brie. She's dreamy.

Watched nearly all of season 1 of After Life yesterday (things are getting desperate) despite the somewhat wonky writing (he desperately needs an editor/collaborator) and Ricky Gervais playing Ricky Gervais, as he always does, it was surprisingly good.

That last episode of Series 2 was a tough watch. Be interesting to know how Gervais got such a good handle on personal grief.

Series 1 was brilliant, series 2 not as good and series 3 not worth watching IMO. Went downhill faster than an olympic skier.

Watched the second episode of the celebrity SAS program last night. (sorry if its already been talked about).

It is a tough as anything challenge. I thought the bit at the end with Fash was an eye-opener, I hadn't realised his demons with his brother, really moving TV I thought.

I've also been watching community and it is ace. Why do Americans keep pumping shit out like friends and big bang wassit when they are capable of making comminity and always sunny? I suppose you could say the same about britain and gavin and stacy and Mrs Brown's boys.

I'll admit, im partial to a bit of BBT and HIMYM, but Community and IASIP are miles ahead.

Workaholics is back on amazon prime - would liken it to a more juvenile always Sunny. Good stupid comedy

Will Never forget the golden period of American comedy about 8-9 years ago, where you had new episodes of community, the office, parks and Rec, it’s always sunny and workaholics every week. I’m sure they weren’t all scheduled at the same time, but it felt like it. Perfectly aligned to my uni years

Did anyone watch/watching Twin? Norwegian mystery drama with Kristofer Hivju (bloke who played Tormund in GoT). I've found it fairly good.

Cinematography is bloody lovely at times and is certainly helped by the gorgeous Nordic backdrops but I've found this series good enough that your eye doesn't end up wandering off to the Fjords. There is a very convincing set of stories that all contribute to the main plot. The guy who plays the copper Frank, who no one wants to believe or listen to is a pretty good actor, as is the daughter of the the main protagonist.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. If you're not a fan of subtitled pictures though, then it'll likely not be for you. Shame though because it is worth a watch.
