Quick question. Is it possible to have 2 boxes attached to your TV. Want TalkTalk broadband with Sky Sports and Now TV for Sky Atlantic etc.

Apologies if it's a dumb question

Depend on your TV.

NowTV is an HDMI connector. I assume the TalkTalk box is too?

If you've got two spare HDMI sockets then great, if not you'll need an HDMI switch that can take lotds of inputs and provides one output to your TV (I have no recommendations - but something like):

https://www.amazon.co.uk/GANA-Intelligent-splitter-switcher-Supports/dp/B071HX6YB4/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1500993141&sr=1-3&keywords=hdmi+switch+4k

(not a recommendation)

Thanks, guys. Only interested in TalkTalk cos their package for broadband and Sky Sports is only £28.45.

Fed up paying Sky £80 a month

It occurred to me recently that I've never seen Dr. Who, or at least since they began making it again. Today I finished downloading the job lot. 11 seasons worth.

For me...Christopher Eccleston = brilliant. David Tennant = quite good. Matt Smith = not good.
Peter Capaldi = brilliant.

I would have said:
Christopher Eccleston = Rubbish
David Tennant = Quite good.
Matt Smith = Good.
Peter Capaldi = Awful.

Eccleston - good-ish
Tennant - Very good
Smith - Good / Very good with Karen Gillian Eek
Capaldi - dogpoop. Stopped watching during his tenure.

Eccleston - very good ,re-established the brand
Tennant good but the scripts were truly woeful
Smith - awful but lucky to have Amy / Rory to make it watchable again with awful scripts
Capaldi - dissapointingly bad again with awful scripts

Was that the "are you my mummy" one? My favourite new Who. Written by Moffat, who seemingly couldn't pull it off when he became showrunner.
