Thanks Legett - loving your mega info there - clearly a book reader?

Berniman I really like thronecast but my husband hates it as he said it's taking geeky ness to the extreme! I kind of take his point but I think I need to start recording it and watching it in my own time

They did a good bit in this weeks episode about the faith militant so it's worth you taking a look.  The useful part is when they refer back to previous series or episodes to show you where the references derived from for stuff going on in this weeks episode.

Apart from that, your other half is right, it is a geek fest, but less of a geek fest this year than it was last year Smiley

Bayern are giving it a right go against Barca.

They defend like us, though

yup yup, not a prolific reader so took me the best part of a year, reading the books up to the point I'd watched the series was a bit of a struggle (apart from working out the massive changes between books and tv show!) but I enjoyed them! Well, as much as you can enjoy something so fucking bleak... Tongue

Found watching http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b05t7kc1/all-aboard-the-canal-trip extremely relaxing. Looks a brilliant walk alongside it on the footpath.

Is anyone else watching the Peter Kay car share thing?

I'll probably get slated for this but I love Peter Kay!  Embarrassed

Yep, watched all the series when they were on sky.

I watched because I have an interest in American Football, and have to say I enjoyed it.

High School Football is massive in Texas, and the show does give you a taste of that.

Exactly my reasons for wanting to give it a shot.

Thanks.

Yep, agree with Posh.  Really good, well worth a watch.  I watched the whole series when it was on Sky Atlantic previously.  Like a long drawn out version of any given Sunday but based around high school football.  You will recognise some faces as well that have gone onto the big screen after appearing in the show.

Watched the first 3 episodes of daredevil on Netflix. Really good and a bit dark.
