I'm currently going through Sons of Anarchy on Netflix... it's terrible, but I keep watching it.

I've tried to watch this twice now and can't get past the first episode. The same with Prison Break. I just can't get engaged with it.

Oddly though I've watched the new original series Hemlock Grove straight through in under a fortnight. Even though it's utter bollocks, it's sort of entertaining bollocks.

Thoroughly enjoyed "The Following" although it was pretty much the same every week .Lost its way a bit with Joe Carroll losing his serial killer/cult leader "cool" in the last couple of episodes.I hope Emma will be the main protagonist in the second series as she had a real chilling air about her.

I love Everybody Loves Raymond, but it won't work in a British format.

I'm not going to lie that community has its peaks and troughs, but writing it off at the beginning of season two is stupid. A lot of people got a bit uppity about the episodes in season four because of behind the scenes changes, but I honestly find that newer episodes on individual merit arent that much worse

Just been renewed for a 5th season.

Yeah I've seen. Later seasons are always going to be compared to it's earlier ones, and they're always going to suffer as a result. On individual merit though I've found season 4 to be more than decent (opening episode and puppet episode aside).

The writers of Community are, in my opinion, currently trying too hard. I won't back down from that and I don't think it's an uppity observation. If you strip everything that's good about the show behind-the-scenes then there's going to be a dip in quality and for me, Community suffered a significant dip during (this season alone).

The U.S. Office suffered the same a couple of seasons ago. Seinfeld experienced a mild lull in quality when Larry David left and it goes on and on.

It happens and it's probably good that NBC have given Community the same chances as 30 Rock and Parks & Rec had/have received as Community has room to get back on top.

A lot of the best U.S. comedy on mainstream channels get minimal audiences and it baffles me.

Just finished watching Banshee.  Worth sticking with, it's decent if you like that kind of thing

Today I caught three or four minutes of 'The Wright Way' by Ben Elton (I didn't realise it was by him until after I caught it).

What a shambles, probably the worst thing I have ever seen on TV.  It reminded me of 'When the Whistle Blows' (from Extras) but without the irony or humour.

Yeah, but Steve Martin would have to resort to being a back-street abortionist to sink this low...

I saw Ben Elton live a couple of times back in the 80's - the best stand up comedy perfprmances I have seen.

I hate it when a celeb you liked becomes shit.
