It's certainly high up on the list.

Though the rant was initiated by seeing a very annoying advert on the BBC for something called 'Sweat The Small Stuff' with another smug but unfunny twenty-something hipster presenter of the sort better described than I ever could by the clip below.

You Bastard!

I'm going to have to go and dig out the Nathan Barley DVD I've got and rewatch the series. It's all about the 'Smoked Salmon Coffee' scene.

Is that the show that's filmed in Sutton?

Yeah it is, the shop they used was opposite the Cock & Bull on the high street. It's now a tapas restaurant so not sure how that will work if they do another series.

Aye that series was good stuff

It's good to see that British TV is finally starting to learn from foreign TV in that you are allowed to have a crime drama lasting more than 2 hours max.  It's allows the characters and story lines to develop so much better

Broadchurch was the best whodunnit/thriller I have seen for a few years very impressed.

Popped into West Bay a couple of days ago as its just round the corner from us and saw Pauline Quirk filming the next series.

Annoyed I missed Broadchurch, heard great things.
By the time I was aware of it, episode one had been removed from catch up, which was annoying, so didn't bother. Will watch it when it comes out on DVD.

Can't remember what it's called, but that new Ben Elton show is probably the worst thing I've seen ever. Wouldn't even have been funny in the 80's, which is when I presume the scripts were written. They should get sued for falsely advertising it as a comedy.

Agreed....absolute crap, and, as an Elton fan, very disappointing.
