Flash Forward was awful. You could pinpoint exactly where they knew they weren't getting another season, and from then on shit just seemed to happen for no reason.

I was told to avoid Alcatraz as well so I'm not surprised it's being axed.

Stick to HBO and occasionally AMC stuff. In the case of AMC, they tend to make short first seasons in the hope that it'll fund longer seasons thereafter.

It's J. J. Abrams - he doesn't even know the answers. I suspect in series 8 one of the characters would've woken in a cell in Alcatraz back in 1961 and realise it was all a dream. Smiley

I found the first couple a bit slow but got better and better.  Definately worth a bit more effort
