They seemed to drop that storyline in Series 6. Mind you, I thought she acted that part really well. |

To be fair they did, and you are right she did act it well. I think it’s more a negative on my part from binge watching, when you watch 5/6/7 episodes a day, you notice the repetitiveness of some story lines that you probably wouldn’t if you only watched a couple of episodes a week. |

There was also at least one plotline every series in which she should have been fired or imprisoned.
I tried to suspend belief but found it a bit too unrealistic how she continued to keep her job time after time
