Wife signed herself up (with mates) to do a quiz Sunday night on Tiger King. We've not watched it. She told me last night, so we started it. Thought the first episode was shit (I haven't watched TK as it didn't really appeal to me) but the second episode was pretty promising. I say was, as we had to stop as she signed us up for her work's quiz. 3 fucking hours of pissed primary school teachers (read: middle aged women) and a friday night I'll never get back. By this point I think my post needs to go in the other thread but what the hell.

Finished Afterlife, didn’t think it was as funny as series 1.

The other more serious side about dealing with grief he absolutely fucking nailed it again. I felt a bit teary on more than one occasion. Brilliant portrayal about struggling to deal with death of a loved one

Yes, its really good. The first and second series are superb. The third fades a little but is still good.

I agree, it wasn't as funny but was a fair bit more thought provoking IMO. Yes as you state it handles grief brilliantly.

One massive minus point was Paul Kaye's character as the shrink took on too much of a role with no need and was utterly pointless to me.

The ending was another tearjerker though.

Just downloaded that, looks really good.

Really enjoyed that series, never been to South America but definitely want to go now, stunning part of the world. Looks better than a shit railway in Devon anyway! Wink

2 episodes in and enjoying it so far.  The fight scenes are brutal and brilliantly choreographed..
