Sorry, Berni. It really is you.

The Black Adder is almost unwatchable and, although I can happily watch it, I don't think the Goes Forth is as good as what many say.

Blackadder II and Blackadder the Third are very good.

Partridge is ace.

Phoenix Nights was very good as an ensemble comedy and I tolerated Kay in Cradle to the Grave despite the accent but I've never understood the level of hype towards him.

That Peter Kay Thing was good, Phoenix Nights had moments but overall he is just another average comic.

I think some of Peter Kay's stand up routines are up there with the best of them. Belly laugh brilliant.

Discussions about whether a comedian is good or not are as pointless as discussing best bands, best films, etc.

Stewart Lee is, for me, one of the best comedians going. A lot of people think he's just a smug liberal cunt.

You could say that about everything. Footballers, cars, politics, etc.
It's just people's opinions like on any subject.

I adore Stewart Lee, but can still laugh at bits of the likes of Kay/McKintyre. I'd say it's very easy to get smug about comedy, but then as its primary purpose is to be enjoyed, who cares? If it makes you laugh then why not. Ish.

Still, there's always that one you would think twice before saving from drowning *sorry Lee Evans*

The Missing - last part last night.
It was an excellent series - much better than the first one, I thought.

A couple of nights ago I started watching it on iPlayer, then went to carry on last night and discovered all episodes preceding the fifth have been removed. Sad Fortunately it's readily available by torrent.

I'll let you have John Bishop, Lee Evans would probably flail around so much someone would inevitably save him. Although I did like Bishop's joke about having a kid who liked football and "the other one."

I've got a new laptop so I can finally start watching all the stuff people have recommended me, starting with Planet Earth. There's nothing eight legged in it, is there?

Didnt see the first one. Saw this and enjoyed it. Although, I thought it lurched along a little in places and zoomed through to the end.

Lucifer is very good
Just started watching this last night, 5 episodes in and me and the wife are hooked, very dry humour and quite funny, very impressed so far.

Would recommend Vikings to anyone. Also just watched glitch on Netflix. It's like an Australian version of les revenant.
