Is anyone else watching Designated Survivor on Netflix?

Kiefer Sutherland is brilliant as usual, but I fear the plot lines are going to get more and more ridiculous.

Yeah. I've been enjoying it. I want them to get back on track really but I dare say it'll all link together in the end.

I could never manage to sit through that. I love love That Peter Kay Thing and Phoenix Nights (the first series anyway) but it was like M&P took everything that was bad about the second and made it into a series.

I want to watch that Peter Kay thing now..

Max and Paddy grows on you. It's all about the silly little things you missed the 1st/2nd time watching it.

Kay's famous for that. Car Share even had lovely little bits in it like that (Husband missing, last seen with a whore)

Maybe I should give it another go.

Peter Kay is odd, shit stand up, and pretty annoying in general, but put him in a sitcom, genius.

I think Peter Kay is a brilliant stand up. 100 times better that your Michael McIntyre's and Jack Whitehall's.

I too think Kay is better at stand up than he is at sitcoms.  I don't find Pheonix, M&P or car share funny.  But then I don't find Black adder and Alan Partridge funny, and everyone else seems to, so maybe it's me..

That's not saying much, Theresa May is better at stand up that the last two.....

Peter Kay did one decent stand up routine, touring it to death and then releasing the same routine on DVD multiple times under different names so loads of people now have bought it multiple times.

As for his sitcom writing, quality often seems to depend who he is writing with, one could interpret that in a number of ways?

The Grand Tour. First episode was really good and enjoyable. This weeks was terrible, its was so cringy and embarrassing. The car content was good but the SAS segment was awful
