Borrowed heavily from IT, which still remains as one of my favourite books.
IT is a brilliant read. I went through a stage of reading Stephen King's work a few years ago and IT, together with a compendium (Think it was him writing as Richard Bachman) were my favourites.

I can't remember if Making a Murderer was discussed in this thread, nor can I find any reference to it anywhere.

Anyway, Brendan has had his conviction overturned. I thought that his incarceration was the saddest thing about that whole story, other than the victim of course.

Apparently they haven't got the footage of the overturned conviction on film...

Still, the second series should be interesting..

I've been watching a series called, "The Night Of". There's apparently 8 episodes and I'm 6 in (the 6th only came out last night), but I'm really enjoying it.

It's one of those series' that feels properly well made and likely to be considered a great. It's so well scripted and put together. John Turturro stars as well and he makes me wet.

HBO, but I've been getting it via torrent. And you can also stream it on putlocker.

I've now also learnt it's based on a BBC series, Criminal Justice, so I'll have to watch that as well now and find out if it's just a weak copy.

Fargo season 1 was superb, I haven't watched season 2 yet.

I've been watching Last Chance U on Netflix, that's decent.

Funnily enough the guy who recommended Fargo to me knows I don't watch a lot of tv and said just watch S2 because it's brilliant, and S1 is just good. I insist on watching them all from the beginning though!

Couldn't agree more. I think it's a more satisfying series than making a murderer due to the ending.

I've spent over 15 hours in traffic over the weekend, so also listened to the serial podcast. That's superb, albeit lacking some closure/conclusion.

The Jinx was amazing. Watch The Staircase if you haven't already.

There has been news regarding Serial hasn't there (avoiding spoilers!)
