This is a recommendation to those who enjoyed MaM and also a request for recommendations if you know of any others:

The Jinx
The Staircase - already mentioned

Capturing the Friedmans -  from the same producer of "The Jinx." 2 men accused of sexual assaulting many children and how the case unfolds.
A Murder In The Park - A man is saved from execution within 24 hours of the injection in a an apparent miscarriage of justice and confession from the perpetrator. But the alleged confession is troubling.
Central Park 5 - 5 black kids give statements to the police that makes Brendan's look perfect and reliable. Follows the initial trial and their eventual release, many years later.
The Cheshire Murders - an absolutely awful crime that follows the trial from start to finish, with one defendant blaming the other.
Prophets Prey - alongside Deliver us from Evil - victims of sexual abuse and how it was dealt with by religious officials and police, the former from a fundamentalist Mormon sect and the latter from the Catholic Church.
Paradise Lost - A trilogy about the West Memphis 3. Just watch it.

There is a documentary about the west Memphis 3 on Netflix, called West Memphis. It's pretty fascinating, and definite similarities with how the police go about their interviewing with naive kids as was evident on making a murderer.

Is that West of Memphis, the one by Peter Jackson? I've seen that too. Preferred the Paradise Lost trilogy but it's still such a fascinating case.

It mentioned Paradise lost so must have been made afterwards.

I have 45 minutes left to go but its just getting interesting now the dodgy stepdad is being interviewed.

It was Smiley
He is dodgy isn't he? I do recommend you look at some of the "they did it" stuff afterwards though. Not because I necessarily believe they did, but films like that (it was produced by Echols I believe) don't necessarily tell you everything.

Started watching Suits. Really enjoying it. A nice difference from the usual crime or dark dramas we normally watch.

First 2 series are very good. My interest started waning on series 3 when they got into internal corporate crap which I didn't give 2 hoots about, It lost me then.

Stop at the end of season 4. Don't do that to yourself.

Peaky Blinders is excellent although the first series was better than the second.
