A more realistic portrayal of life in a German POW camp is Hogan's Heroes, if you're into a more authentic feeling piece of television.

Thanks, i'll give that a try

Off work this week so started watching 'Orange is the New Black'. It's ace, I've nearly finished series 1 already. First series I've got into since Prison Break.

Don't know if anyone's seen it but I am starting to think our media strategy is a half finished episode from "Nathan For You". I recommend it for a few silly giggles.

Finish House of Cards (US) today. Went off it a bit mid-way through series 3 as it felt stagnant, but got back into it and quite enjoyed the rest of the series. Series 4 should be interesting.

Just started watching 'Dag' a Norwegian comedy, only a couple of episodes in but enjoying it so far. The Scandinavians really are quite good at TV.

^^^ I've just started watching 'Jordskott'. Started off conventionally, but seems to have gone a bit Twin Peaks now, which is no bad thing. Enjoying it so far.

Pretty disappointed by season 2 of the True Detective, seemed to me to lose its way after 4 episodes.

That is on my to watch list as well. Heard good things about '30 degrees in February' another Swedish drama, so will give that a go tonight.

I've not seen it but Atle Antonsen is brilliant, think he writes it as well as being Dag

I'm working my way through Breaking Bad at the mo, midway through season 5. loving it so far!

With you on this.

Wasn't overwhelmed by the first 3 seasons but 4 and 5 have been superb.

I know it's been mentioned on here before, but just finished watching Breaking Bad - all 5 series in just over a month. Loved it, every twist and turn - one of the best things I have ever watched.

Every time this thread returns to this topic, I'm reminded of.......
