I watched the first episode when it came out on Netflix, will go back to watch the rest at some point.
It kind of felt like nothing really happened in the first episode, but I really enjoyed it. Sort of the story wasn't important as the whole thing was so dark, weird, on edge, creepy, strange, awkward. Or something like that, can't really explain it.
I kind of know what you mean, I'll go back once it's all online, I just had a feeling it was posing more and more questions and getting a bit carried away. It frustrated me I suppose. |

The original French series was fantastic. It did lose it's way in the final two episodes, but I'm really interested what they do for the second series. I haven't bothered with the American one as I don't see the point. |

I saw the Danish version of The Killing first and couldn't watch the American one, so maybe I'll just give the the French version of The Returned and fuck the yank one off.

The Affair - the waitress has a really wide mouth. It's an alright show so far as well, a funny set up in the way it's told that kinda stands out from the norm, don't wanna give anything away so can't say much more.

Also was "bad pussy" the worst line delivered in a good TV show ever? That whole sand snakes subplot has been genuinely pantomine standard writing.

Yes, considering how many story-lines they have to juggle, and how precious time should be when you only make 10 episodes a series, that whole subplot didn't amount to much more than Jaime and Bronn wandering around, with no comprehensible plan, dressed like extras from a Carry On film. |
