Saw part of the Glenn Hoddle documentary last night on Sky, with around 5 mins on his stay at Swindon.

They borrowed excerpts from the 'That's Football' documentary and there was an interview with Micky Hazard, also.
thought it was a decent programme and Swindon got a very reasonable amount of time in it. Well worth seeing, those who missed it.

Only just got round to watching it, but did anyone else watch The Casual Vacancy, seems to be one of a new genre of TV programmes that looks very nice and quite an interesting story at the start and going through but when you get the end it just has no point, no obvious ending and just seems lacking in structure!

Finally got round to watching the last episode last night, given Top Gears hiatus.

You are spot on with your description. It was well made, and seemed to be leading somewhere, then never really did. JK Rowling obviously ran out of ideas after Harry Potter.

I just can't get into this but my husband really likes it - I don't understand what era it's supposed to be set in?

They do it in Archer and it works - using stuff from the last 50 years at random.

Mr Tumble is brilliant you grumpy old git.

My kids have recently discovered something called Larva on Netflix. It's gross but also brilliant at the same time. I'm not sure whether a 2 year old and a 5 year old should be watching it, but hey ho.

Mr tumble is an annoying cunt, so annoying that if Jeremy Clarkson punched him purely for looking at his streak sandwich, the Daily Mail would have a 'knight Clarkson' campaign special edition.
