Only Sheff U had more in league 1 and we had at least 1500 more than all other league 2 games, and Rotherham only brought 200.

Would expect this Saturday's crowd to be up around the 8,000 Mark, don't think Southend bring great numbers but hoping after yesterday's win a few more undecided fans will turn up and give it a go. Walk up match day tickets are high this season so totally understand why some fans choose not to come and others are just unable too though.

Was at first thinking lower Coca but this is the first weekend after the school holidays when pretty much everyone is back to normal so Thats where I got the 8,000 from. We may get a few extra walk up fans if some were impressed with Saturday's effort on tv.

Enjoyed the FL show highlights. Thanks to whoever posted them.

I loved Di Canio & Co leaping around like menty's when we scored the third goal, right in front of Cunty Scott. The look on his face as he tries to keep from boiling over is fucking priceless. It might explain his deluded, bitter post-match comments as well.

My mate was the 4th official on Saturday and he said that PDC was a real gentleman before, during and after the game, he was a bit shocked when Mr Di Canio grabbed him and started dancing with him!

Did he also say Scott was a complete and utter 'Leon'?

Flint has more will to win in him than the whole sorry bunch of last seasons excuses.

His reaction to Connells goal sums him up.

I usually enjoy reading Guardian articles but that was a pile of horses*it, I'm fed up of how we're viewed by the mainstream press.

Left wing press with some cheap shots at someone with right wing tendancies....come on Guardian, you are better than that surely...

Another great quote from Connell in that article though:

I would not go quite as far as goalscorer Alan Connell, who said, "When the County Ground's buzzing like that, I don't think there is any better place to be,"
