I’d imagine Wright would follow him, it was Wellens who brought him in after all.
I also read an article with Paul Jewell a while back which said he was only at the club for Wellens.

So we’d be losing more than a manager.

He said in the Adver today that he’s falling out of love with football with no fans and crap refs.

Even without Covid he’d still be pissed off at Salford, then!

I’d be pretty pissed off if he went after all this preaching about loyalty recently to be honest.

If Wellens does go, and it would be gutting (hard to compare but our best manager in 26 years), it would surely be Hunt-Wright stepping up. Not going to recruit in this climate.

[Purely hypothetical]

I think whenever the time comes then Wright would follow Wellens. I imagine he'd have been assistant had Hunt not been recruited.

If we lost our manager during 'these timess' then you'd expect Hunt, a new assistant (possibly Jewell or even McLoughlin) and Mildenhall to look after the side.

Jewell would likely go as well - he's said so himself in the past.

Gareth Barry! Come on down!

In any other scenario Gareth Barry would be a close to the quintessential Swindon Town appointment but he recently said "[at] the minute, coaching and doing my badges – I’m not feeling that pull" in a recent interview.

Fair. So all in, we'd be in deep shit.

Yes, as head of coaching, while Macca is still Academy Manager.

I’ve always thought peacock would be quite likely to wind up as caretaker/cheap option of the firsts at some point while he was here. Admittedly that’s not based on much, and I’d agree that Hunt would be much better placed to fill that role were wellens to leave without him

That's quite worrying now that he's odds on favourite and makes you wonder if their working on the compensation package
