Think that might have been on the cards since the board messed around with contract extensions for key players during the restart. TBH he's gone as far as he can with Burnley, if he does go will be very interesting to see where he ends up. Particularly if he gets a decent budget to work with, then we'll find out if the way Burnley play is the "Dyche way" or just a pragmatic adaptation to the resources he had available to him.

it will be interesting. it strikes me as a bit of moyse everton and Allardyce Bolton. can he do it at a big club with different player attitudes and season targets we shall see. he has done incredible at burnley. sometimes though it just works.

This is classic in the 101 of dismantling a relegated club. I've never been keen on Howe but as soon as the rats start to depart you know it is only going one way. I will say, I think he has been unlucky with the likes of Solanke & Ibe (amongst others). They aren't absolute shite and Howe has never struck me as a manager who takes passengers or piss takers. A lot of those players have got to put their hands up and acknowledge they have taken the contracts but not performed for them.

Is this a blame all at the managers hands? I don't think so. Maybe several of these players are of the 'Jack Rodwell' ilk. They don't like their job but know they get very good money for it, of course. Thing is someone like Jordon Ibe will get a gig at another Premier League team, probably have a great season (which will leave Bournemouth scratching their heads), earn a lucrative contract extension and then under perform for the next 3/4/5 years.

It's absolutely glorious though, I will definitely be plopping a few quid on a another relegation and become linked with great managers like Keith Hill, Graham Turner and Gavin Peacock*.

The news is worthy of a few sips of milk stout, up to the witching hour  Pint

You reckon? I bet one from Fulham or Brentford would go for him on a free. Could easily roll up at West Ham, Villa or Palace (Woy will know all about him). In fact weren't Palace going to pay money for Ibe in January?  Hmmm Now they can have him for no fee.

It's only my thoughts but happy to put on a wager on with you? £10? To charity?

With who is coming on the managerial market, understandable why the slave traders are biding their time. As Howe doesn't seem able to work very far from Bournemouth, Bristol might be within range?

Took over at Bournemouth when they were in the bottom 2 of Div 4 on minus points after a 17 point deduction and saw them through 3 promotions and 5 years in the Premier League at a club smaller than us. Sure he had money to spend in the Championship (and more than he should have had, but that was the club's doing not his), but plenty of managers have much more than he had and get nowhere near that level of success at much bigger clubs.

I don't have a problem with him as such, but I do with the club. I think he will go onto better things with a better club.
