Warnock wants another crack at some level get to some sort of record of being a manager, so would not bet again him taking it for the sake if it until end of season

With his history would Jewell not be nearer the mark?
Hope not, I think he's nearly as important to our current success as Wellens

I think he is Wellens guide and mentor and also has a big hand in getting the player sin that we have done.

Does he want another crack at managing?

Somebody better ask him and hope hes happy in his role!

Jewell has been out of management for years hasn’t he??

Based on nothing I’d assume if he’d wanted to get back into management, he would have already done so by now

You’d think so. But who best to be blamed for sending them back than the bloke you’re about to sack. Make no mistake, the board wanted them both off the payroll but didn’t want the flak to come their way.

Their recruitment in Jan was bizarre and shows them up as either skint or just using any money they do have in paying off Bowyer. The new bloke will need to be a miracle worker.

Indeed, Fans not keen on him, i reckon the players arent too keen now BUT theres a bit of scape goat about it.

I hope he got a big gob stopper payout when they showed him the door.

Even Mystic Meg could see that one coming!

Septic Peg would even get that right.

I know he is a bit of a "cult" hero up there but hes not an inspiring choice for them.

Much the same as some here clamouring for Calderwood before Wellens was appointed. It’s a lazy appointment, really. Keep the fans happy for a bit I suppose.

I recall McCall playing for them.  First match of the season late 80's, we'd gone up through first PO and the opener was up north.  That BC side became the Hendrie/McCall team, and it was a wake up call as it was a significant step up. as we lost 0-2.

Lou though got it sorted and we held our own BC finished in PO's

The rematch involved the famous fog abandoned game when Town 3-0 up....

He did take them to the L1 playoff final a few years ago to be fair. They needed to appease the fanbase and they have, I think he'll do a good job too

He plays a much more attacking style for starters. Any half decent manager worth his salt should be able to get Bradford into the play-offs surely?
