Be interesting to see what happens up there with the supporters....

Think they've all expected this for a while. Short of a full boycott it's hard to see how they could be any more disaffected than they are now, but Ashley doesn't seem to care in the slightest.

I wonder what Rio Ferdinand has to say on the matter.

Indeed, its been a mess throughout Ashleys ownership and thats never going to change. It possibly time for the supporters to put their money where their mouths are and just boycot, although the problem is I assume there is still massive demand for season tickets and thus if you give up and boycott there will be someone else to sell it to and no guarantee getting a season ticket in a later season once Ashley has gone.

Are things really so bad as to boycott.  They've got prem football and a dick of an owner. Boo Hoo.

OK  -the debt and the season ticket prices increase are fair enough to moan about,

They have Prem football largely because of Benitez though, that is a Championship squad barring a couple of players, and their relegation odds are shortening quickly today.

Am I right in thinking still a couple of clubs without managers:

Newcastle (ok, only recently)
Bury
Hull
Doncaster

And Chelski and Brum.

McCann took over at Hull last week.

Sabri Lamouchi! Now there is a name I only know because of Championship Manager 01/02. Sounds like a random appointment.

So Benitez rolls up in China to manage Dalian Yifang at a cool £12m a year, that's got to make a departure from Tyneside more comfortable.
