Pulis leaves Middlesbrough.
With Woodgate apparently one of the candidates to replace him. Bearing in mind this was the guy known as "Village" as a player at Leeds because he was notoriously thick. WTF?

But still massively intelligent compared to the average Boro fan. Going to Ayresome Park was an education - not sure what the new ground is like. It was like a scene from the Walking Dead but knife carrying zombies.

I don't think the links to the job are particularly strong.

I am not sure that IQ is a normal test of competence for the average football manager, although the idea of him managing another genius in Flint suggests a degree of comedic value and possibly a sit com?

Nothing better than a good ol' fashioned player-manager appointment.

I miss them.

Based on nothing more than than him seeming an all round good egg and intelligent chap, I think he could be a decent manager.

Steve Clarke goes from Kilmarnock men to manage the Scotland men's national team. That should see an upturn in their fortunes.
