Who the EFL have said bizarrely, that if Salford City get promoted its not a conflict of interest him being a manager of an opposition team

Yes because a 10% ownership stake in a club is disregarded so long as it is held “purely for investment purposes”.

Can't see that ending well, never really struck me as management material when he was a player or as a pundit.

Yes he doesn't come accross as the most intelligent player ever but could be wrong, its the 3rd time he has applied for the managers job at Oldham in the last 3 years, third time lucky.

Like a lot of big name players....have a high opinion of themselves and often get found out.

I thought one of Lampard and Gerrard would of gone by now but done very well....maybe third time unlucky for Scholes.

Scholes made people think that he was camera shy for about 20 years so I'm not so sure he's the dumb-dumb that many believe he is.

It's a tough gig, good luck to the guy... but I hope Wellens gets one over his old teammate.

No surprise... they sacked Ranieri, soon after he won the title.  Every time I've seen Leicester this season, they've played some decent stuff and been a bit unlucky, Puel looked to have been bringing through some decent young talent.

David Hopkin has resigned at struggling Bradford City less than 6 months after going there from Livingston after winning just 7 of his 35 games there.

Gary Bowyer is heavily linked to the vacancy.

Whoever it is could well be managing them in L2 next season.
