Conte finally sacked (and yes, I assumed he'd already been sacked/quit weeks ago too)

I don't rate or much like Steve Bruce but you have to feel a bit sorry for him with the rumours that Thierry henry has already been offered the job of manager while he is still employed.

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/next-aston-villa-manager-thierry-henry-steve-bruce-sacked-a8462551.html

I guess at least he will get a nice pay off but this seems to be happening a bit more regularly than every before.

Aston Villa could be turning into the new Leeds with their turnover of managers of 4 in the last 2 years or so.

Steve Bruce as much as anyone knows how it works....

Interestingly he applied for the STFC job after John Gorman was sacked.... we got McMahon.

Bruce lives! Or has he just got the vote of confidence?

The Oystons still running that club in to the ground I expect? I'd have thought they'd have got out after the had stripped everything they could and the Premiership parachute payments dried up.

Beat his old side, Hull, away tonight. 3-1. Where is Jack Grealish off to, does anyone know? Supposed to have given the goodbye farewell clap as he was subbed late on this evening.

Yes Spurs said to be interested but won't pay the fee wanted by Villa said to be 40m and Spurs only offering 22m.

Exeter fans up in arms with Tisdale and Perryman after Steve Perryman confirmed he will be joing Tisdale at MKD as Associate Director at the club, in essence Director of Football.

In May he said he had retired from football altogether and now this, bit of a kick in the teeth for Exeter City.

Tisdale turning MKD into Exeter reserves.

If it was possible, I would hate them even more...
