Aren't franchise supposed to be skint and falling, seems a very odd choice, things must be particularly shit at Doncaster!
His Donny parting comment was - "I’m disappointed to have made this decision as I have enjoyed my time at the club and was looking forward to the new season, but I felt I had no alternative."

Could this be the L2 appointment Mr. Exagent was alluding to?

The fact that his parting shot was via the LMA website suggests that his departure did not go well......

Tisdale to MKD done.
Be interesting to see what he can do with the biggest budget in the division vs how he did at Exeter who had a very modest budget to say the least.

Many Exeter fans seemed relieved when he left, saying he had 1 dimensional tactics throughout his Exeter career playing very defensive and letting teams come at them and hitting them on the break, as they did to their detriment in the PO final vs Coventry.

Conference finishes 5th, 4th, 4th
L2 2nd, 10th, 16th, 10th, 14th, 5th, 4th
L1 18th, 8th, 23rd

2 promotions, 1 via the PO's and one relegation plus 2 play off final defeats in 12 years and over 600 games in charge.

An overall win ratio of 38.5% but a loss ratio of 36.1%.

I thought he had a far better record over all than that TBH.

To be honest, I’ve always enjoyed watching his Exeter teams as an opposing fan. I always seem to remember them playing pretty decent football and being pleasant on the eye.

He’s always someone I’d have liked to see at Swindon. Has always been competitive on a low budget. Always thought he would have been good under the ‘old’ Power model of Power signing the players with Tisdale coaching, as Perryman did at Exeter.

Lots of Oldham fans think Scholes could be in line for the job, wierd timing though a month after the last game of their season that ended with relegation.

I guess they may not have made the move until they had the new man in place, just in case.
