Fat Frank Manager of Derby
20 goto 10

I just don't get these 'big' clubs that gamble on unproven inexperienced explayers... Gerrard and Lampard....one, if not both will end in tears...

Going to be a tough season for them, most of their best players sold and now,  arguably one of the best managers in this division gone. If i were an Exeter fan I'd be slightly worried.

I agree, its like a lot of these ex international players think they have a God given right to become good managers just because they have played at the highest level.

A large majority of Exeter fans wanted rid of him saying he had taken them as far as he could.

He also no longer from this season ahead has his right hand man Perryman to go between him and the board and advise him.

Where has that come from.

Have to admit I'm a bit twitchy about him not having signed despite "being close". But then, none of them have yet...

Leeds sack Heckingbottom after 4 months (1 month of which has been close season). They really are something else.

Just 1 person on their forum saying this TBF and I don't think they mean OUR Matt Taylor.
Quote
I’d like to see Matt Taylor given a chance myself, being a former captain and managing the youth he’d know about the ethos of the club and what would be likely to be expected. Appointing from within would hopefully also mean a smooth transition.

Early odds....

Grant McCann at 4/1, Mark Warburton 6/1, John Sheridan at 6/1

Wrong Matt Taylor. The Exeter one is currently coach at Bath City.  Panic over!

Let's hope he does the same for MKD as Flipflop did for  Mansfield - Fuck All.
