I can't decide which was more side splittingly hilarious and ridiculous, the Steve McLaren FC Twente interview or the Joey Barton Marseille press conference... Hmmm

The Schteve one was most cringy. Whereas I feel the Barton one was more akin to the average Englishman in France, trying to be French. The Wally with the Brolly just seemed like he was an extra from Eurotrash! Cheesy

Pelligrini has a good record everywhere he has been, that could well easily come crashing down in East London.

I thought he could have done better than West Ham.

He is definately a higher calbre than the usual WH manager appointments. They must have broke the bank to get him in.

5m a year, 3-year deal apparently. He'll be there a year tops. So much rot and toxicity there, the manager is almost irrelevant.

Thats a lot for a manager but still peanuts compared to a lot fo players, nice little earner for him but hes gonna need some luck to do anything more than low mid table there.

There is a lot of bad feelings around the club indeed and yes 2 years maximum Is all he will last.

Who'd be a premier league football manager.

https://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/2017/01/10/the-average-lifespan-of-a-premier-league-manager-revealed/

For 5M a year, I'd give it a go. The taxman can even take his fill.
