Already replaced by JFH.....
JFH would have been my choice of manager here, I expect the Cobblers to rise up the table now.

Not a massive surprise that, worst start ever to a Premier League season by any team apparantly.

That will be Hodgsons gig next judging by how much he is touting himself in the press for it.

Good to see that after they were all surprised by the achievement in getting promoted a couple of seasons back that Palace haven't gotten too far ahead of themselves by changing Managers every five seconds if they sit towards the bottom.  They actually played quite well yesterday, but for an absolute sitter being missed they'd have a point at east, probably should have won.

Nice work for FdB, sacked by both Inter and Palace after a few weeks.. I'm not sure it's the same in Italy, but here you get the contract paid in full, so 4 or 5 mill for doing bugger all.

It's a myth that managers get their contracts paid up in full as standard. It obviously completely depends on the terms of the contract signed, and any mutual consent agreed.

Although I'm sure he did ok out of it.

Well obviously if you have provisions in the contract it's yours and the clubs business... but those provisions will be paid up in full.
