Leeds trying to appoint a new manager before they have sacked the current one, offered it to Karl Robinson at Franchise who turned it down and now want to speak to Darryl Clarke at Brizzle Rovers

Seems to be a sensible job to take as long as you ensure the severance package is substantial and watertightly covered in the contract. The club has become a joke so failing there isn't going to tarnish ones CV in the long run.

You would imagine Clarke will take it - its a huge step up for him - L2 to Championship but it seems they have not met Rover's conditions so they have refused the approach, probably compensation

Amazing Luke Williams as all these top clubs rate him is never linked with any jobs :>)

I suppose it could be argued that going from Salisbury to Rovers was a pretty huge step up, which he has negotiated successfully, so going to Leeds wouldn't be that scary (apart from the Cellino factor). I wouldn't be that surprised if Williams did get linked with the Leeds job as Cellino does seem to prefer a coach to a manager (plus the number of candidates will probably reduce week on week!).

So finally the soap opera is over http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36363365

Be interesting (amusing) to see how the Chelsea fans react and how he maintains the traditions of Manchester United (those being commercial success is everything and keep our consumers happy!)

Should be an interesting watch for the neutral at least...........
