Judging by ex-player tweets. It seems that he wasn't the most liked individual.

Ex Chelsea coach - although at 55 and no one has taken a punt on him as a manager before sounds like either a shrewd move or hoping to use his contacts - although its being reported all players will be brought in for him by some turkish agent

From the "Public figures should not go on social media when angry/frustrated/possibly had a few" section. Norwich CEO responds to fans venting at him on Twitter throughout Saturday evening by letting it all get to him and resigning on twitter on Sat night; then things better of it and withdraws his resignation (again on Twitter) in wee small hours of Sunday. The Norwich board are suitably impressed by his outstanding professionalism and decide to accept his first answer:

Wasn't he the one Power has mentioned that he is good friends with - so that means no Norwich players next season for us

Ex scum manager Wilder given permission to talk to Charlton about becooming their manager today, he turned down Bolton last week apparently after being given permission to speak to them.

When you see his win percentages you can see why teams are interested in him....

2 promotions under his belt as well, clearly a decent manager.

Why he would want to touch Charlton given their current state is beyond me
