Think that's a bit premature myself. Such is modern football I suppose

edit: i hope the new man doesn't recall all loans. He can't on season long loans, can he?

Depends if there are any recall clauses. even if no clauses can still sell, instead of another loan out/recall.

I think that all our loans (except Hall) are till January with an option till the end of the season IIRC.

I thought they were all our loans were season long ones other than Ajose's from P'boro. I may be wrong though.

I am sure I heard Mason and Pritchard were only 6 months, but I could have missheard this as we did sign them under a bit of a cloak without much information to the public at the time.

I am sure it was on one of the BBC radio interviews.

Ignore that, according to the STFC OS they are all on season long loans, so hopefully there isnt a clause allowing them to leave in January as I have heard that Pritchard is a cert to leave in the transfer window.

They wouldn't get in the Spurs side anyway, so nothing to worry sbout.

No but Mason and Pritchard COULD play in the Championship easily when they can be bothered.

Would have thought any decision on the future of our loanees would depend more on the future of Sherwood et al at Spurs. Any new first team manager is going to have enough on his plate with the first team and Jan transfer window to start off with, doubt he's going to start bothering himself with sub-reserve players, he'll be happy enough to leave that well alone for now. Possibly the only change would be to halt any permanent outgoings until he's had time to assess them. Which may play in our favour if it leaves Pritchard and Mason here for the rest of the season rather than being flogged off in Jan.

Due to injuries Grant Hall would be Spurs 4th choice CB if he was there at the moment.

As Paul said I doubt the new manager will give a shit about these lads in the short term

I honestly dont rate pritchard and id be amazed if a championship side came in for him in jan based on what he had done this season with us. The amount of times we lose posession through him is incredible. unfortunately we were never going to replace matt ritchie who is 10x better.

But they use a Technical Director (I think that is his title) and he will be the one that will look after a lot of the transfers, I thought on season long loans that players cannot be recalled but I suppose loans can be mutually terminated

edit: what may help is if Sherwood is made caretaker manager until a new man is found so he will not be watching the youngsters as much
