dean holdsworth been sacked by aldershot

Apart from the fact that they are languishing at the bottom of L2, it's slightly weird as his twin brother left Lincoln City on Sunday.

sorry if it's already been mentioned, but I see the local rag in coventry is tipping tim sherwood as next boss at the ricoh. is it confirmed that he was there as a guest of our board? if so; a hearty soapy tit wank

Blackburn were refused permission to talk to Sherwood, even if Spurs had given it the rumour was they'd want a seven figure compensation payment. So I really can't see him going to Coventry.

Who can afford him?  Financially and emotionally.  He'll find somewhere in the new season.  Leeds, West Ham, QPR, lots of people would take him.

Dont think any club will want a manager who is prepared to sue them anytime soon...

There may be legals with the FC to sort. If he hasn't got a job by next season then you'll have a point.

Lambert got the Villa job and was/is threatening action against Norwich.  Normal rules, ethics, morals and common sense are not relevant in football.  PDC will get another job, easily.

That maybe his choice...I hesitate to say it but he lost both of his parents in a short space of time not so long ago, perhaps he wants some time to himself before making his next move.

Interesting you say that.

I can't help feeling that either he engineered his exit so as to be able to let the dust settle and be parachuted into something yet to materialise, in other words he's been offered a job that has not become officially available or Andrew Black was more informed and cunning than we gave him credit for. In other words I cannot help coming round to the point that his stance to the others (Fitton et al) to waive their entitlement WRT their investment or I'll liquidate the club, was in fact a clever way to rid STFC of Di Canio and his uncontrolability, free spending and internal destructiveness. I add into my thought process the speed of which the new investors took control even allowing for the time that it dragged on and was oficially to blame for Di Cano's eventual resignation and the speed with which KMac was appointed from out of no-where, throw into the mix the comments by SWP that Di Cano knew about the possible sale of Ritchie and Jed's criptic comments about welcoming AB back as an investor again. Is it me or do things not quiet add up?

I have a feeling he'll come back to Swindon one day, maybe in 10/15 years.
