McLeish gone from Forrest. Ridiculous.
Unbelievable, but apprently Nigel Adkins has been approached according to one of the Forest forums.

EDIT..... left by mutual consent....alll is not good at Forest behind the scenes by the look of it.

Quote
This morning Nottingham Forest and Alex McLeish have mutually agreed to part company.
Chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi said: “I’m bitterly disappointed – as is Alex – that it has not worked out as we had hoped when he became our manager and I would like to put on record my thanks for his services to the Club and wish him every success in the future.”

McLeish said: “I am extremely saddened to be leaving after such a short period but even so it has been a privilege to be manager of such a fantastic football club and I want to thank the players, staff and fans for their support and wish Nottingham Forest the best of fortunes ahead.

“Both parties entered into the relationship in good faith, however, there was a difference in the understanding of the development strategy of the football club and it was felt by both parties that we should part company”.

The Club will be making no further comment.

An interfering board. Completely the opposite of what Paolo needs. No chance

Its not whether it would work out, its whether he thinks it would. It would be madness, but football is mad.

The board could tell him one thing and do something completely different. It wouldn't be the first time  Wink

I can see Paolo going there, they have crazy owners with loads of cash to burn, and they need a crazy manager too.
Forest is a club with so much potential and with the right manager could become a successful club again. The foundations are there which must be frustrating for their fans.
Edit: Hope this doesn't hinder them giving the shite heads a spanking this weekend.

Paolo's career would be ruined if he went to Forest. Would be a stupid move.

The Pope's just been sacked. Didn't see that one coming. Where will it end?

Mark Robins of Coventry is being closely courted by Blackpool and 'Uddersfield, so Covvy may be without a manager soon that could fuck up their rise up the table.

The Vatican have got plenty of money, best hope they don't come knocking for Di Canio.

I'm not a fan of their kit though.

He'd turn it down and wait for the 'top job' to become available.
