They think Gary Johnson is the solution? Erm, good luck with that.

Don't forget that there were many on here who thought the same about Johnson as the man for us.

In fairness, that was pre-Northampton.

That proved to me that Buckle seems a nice bloke, but appears to be winging it a bit as a manager. How an interviewer can break it to a manager that in the next game a key player for the opponent is absent is unbelievable.

It also indicated we have a superb manager, because nothing, however insignificant, would ever be missed by Paolo. Like this weekend, when in a post match interview one of the players said the game had panned out exactly as PDC had told them it would (pre-match) so they were never worried about the way the first half was going.

But he was total dog shit at Peterborough before that.

Have to say I can't recall anyone up here having a good word to say about him.

How I laugh  - my friend who supports Rovers said at the start of the season Buckle was class, and the appointment of Di Canio was a joke. He said he would wave on the way up. I'm the one doing the waving now...of the two fingered variety

I seem to remember some people on here saying Di Canio was a bad choice and Buckle was a far better option.

 Yes

And how we should've been signing the players they were. Scott McGleish to name but one.

I'd love a smug smiley. Cheesy

He was on the brink of the Play-Off places when he left Peterborough. Perhaps not their target but hardly "total dog shit".

At one time Johnson was a realistic option.

In Paolo we trust.

I do like his dry sense of humour. Anyone hear his interview yesterday on Radio Swindon ?

"If you're an intelligent manager.. like me" Smiley

Fair point, I guess it was more the fact that the fans hated him, All I ever heard was how shit he was.
I guess that may have been because their expectations were too high.

Paul Ince now one of the favourites for the Rovers job after Gary "squeaky midget" Johnson was re-appointed Yokels new manager.

Bit of a backward step for Ince but I guess hes desperate for a job.

He had a promising start to his career in management but Blackburn was too far too soon for him and he has struggled ever since, I dont even remember him being Notts County manager!

Di Canio already being linked to Leeds job after they sacked Simon Grayson.

Can't see him being interested personally.

I think Paolo has so much more integrity than the little wanker Dennis Wise had, who jumped ship at the first opportunity. I am 100% certain that he will at minimum see out the season with us.
