Not guilty m'lud.

I'm going out on a limb here, but aside from Burnley or West Brom fans of course, i'm sure the average football fan would rather watch Celtic v Man U or Rangers v Leeds for example in the Premier league each week, it surely adds more intrigue and interest?

It won't happen of course and would increase the opportunity to have some European Super League.
I may be a bit paranoid but the more Average Joe footy fans declare they’d rather see Celtic and Rangers in the EPL than historic if unglamorous English clubs, the more likely it is to happen. Inserting two more super clubs into the top division would also reduce the chances of clubs like ours ever getting there (again).

Yes, it’s unlikely to happen but I detest the thought that the powers that be would contemplate it because they felt more confident there’d be little resistance from grass roots fans.

Can you imagine trying to get to away fixtures on any day of the week for three o’clock never mind a 7.45 KO.

He's got his work cut out there. Going to get an interesting welcome in Doncaster next season if he doesn't pull it off

I bet one Richie Wellens might be wondering whether he can sneak off to Donny.

Unless they think he doesn't do a good enough job at Salford, and by all accounts, it's no bed of roses for him there at the moment

Noel Hunt rumoured to be part of the new team taking over at Ipswich. Great gig for him.

You'd assume he's got guarantees that he will be given the chance to get them back up next season if he doesn't?
