Wait what, it's only one post by a fan vaguely linking him currently isn't it?
That said, if the link became formal I wouldn't be surprised.
He was linked near the end of last season too in the press when Alexander failed to get them into the play offs. Wellens has used Salfords training facilities in the past when we have been in the NW already and used to play for them and has a good relationship with the owners. Yes it may be one link but just saying I wouldnt be shocked to see this happen. |
