I don't think you should underestimate the incipient financial crisis, which is looking 1930's style in it's likely ferocity. That Div 3 and 4 clubs can agree a wage cap, suggests owners know the difficult times to come, and Div 2 clubs tend to be even more indebted. It's higly likely that the Shitheads are going to have to make cuts in order to keep going, as will a lot of clubs. |
