If STFC were to get promoted to div 2, it appears unlikely (as things currently stand) that the club will have the funds to make a serious bid for a further promotion.  In reality, the club is likely to be in a similar position as, say, Wycombe.

I am not sure whether that would be attractive to Howe given that he has already managed in div 1.  If the suggestion is that he will only consider opportunities in central southern England, there may be other, more attractive, clubs in that region.

In your opinion.

Alas, only time will tell us most of the truth. Fun to speculate (calculated or not) though.

Only if Woy has a bad start next season. Think he's still got a season to give them a mid table jobby. They were shit after the restart though. Easy to bet on.

Rumours that Dean Holden will get the Bristol City job full time. Oh dear, not quite what their entitled fans were hoping for.

Ex City player Joe Bryan popping in a couple of goals in the play off final hasn't lightened their mood.

He seems to be the stock replacement for Lee Johnson at any club nowadays.

Imagine spending time to spray those messages on bedsheets to protest against a manager that hasn't even got the job yet. Woe is me!

Slave trader fans deserve Holden if only for that reaction.

Where have your Dyche, Hughton, Gerrard and Howe gone? Cheesy

Bristol City fans have a past of successfully lobbying against something they don't like:

In the mid-00s they kicked-off so much about a freshly launched kit and badge (player modelling it etc.) that they had to go back to the drawing board. New badge was scrapped, new kit redesign was still bad.

Last year they flapped so wildly about Nathan Thompson potentially signing for them that Johnson had to abandon any interest.

You could say the club could be praised for listening but it's the aggressive nature of the complaints.

Holden wont get it if the noises get louder.
