I must admit I have a bit of a soft spot for West Ham. They have a huge amount of idiot fans following them but I have a lot of mates that have followed them through thick and thin, more edging on the anorexic side of Naomi Campbell most of the time TBH.
Their teams always try and play good football at the expense of results it seems.
Time for them to take a risk on a young up and coming manager now rather than going for experience I think.
Have you watched them recently? I go a couple of times a season and they're always, without fail, absolutely fucking shite. The most turgid, depressing, boring football I've ever seen, in the worst ground in the country. |

No, I havent seen a whole game of theirs for several years now. only ever highlights (lowlights) I think they could dabble with relegation this season no matter who they appoint in all honesty. |

It's always worth looking for a bit of context on things like this.... you'll mostly find something STFC related, whereby fans are looking at games/the general state of play and making judgements on how they see it. So for example in the summer I suggested that Tyler Reid might not be the answer at RB, as a bit of experience was needed based on previous seasons, but similarly you perhaps could get away with a rookie keeper, again based on previous promo seasons. So this sort of opinion promotes the likes of Davis into a diatribe, about trolling, posting stuff to push people's buttons etc. and then the likes of Flasher actively tries to encourage people to ignore such opinions, sticks them into a new thread with headings like crap and more crap, or apparently hoping for my early demise. I don't know what others would call this, but it's at least attempted bullying, the sort of thing which caused Joteddyred to give up posting. Very rarely if ever is there an attempt to engage in the substance of the debate from these.... I'm not saying all posters are like this as there are plenty who do try and debate the issues. |
