I would have preferred he stayed in employment until our managerial situation is sorted
Don't think he's likely to be quitting a Championship job because he's desperate to manage in L2 tbf

It doesn't float my boat but he said he'd do it if Fjortoft meant his goal v Millwall. How could he ever doubt Jan the Man.

Apparently Burtons still exist... although it seems like the days when every high street had an art deco building with a snooker club upstairs have gone.

Dunn and Co, which were just down from Burtons Swindon shop have gone.... a shame, nowhere for a gent to get a decent hat and blazer these days.

Wasn’t it Burton’s window that Harry Worth did his ‘bit’ in?

His mannerisms remind me a bit of Harry Hill.

That'll be a fun manager to have. It could also be a train-wreck, but it'll be a fun train-wreck.

The last time we appointed a recently retired player with a history of betting scandals it didn't work out too badly.

I'd have taken him here, like FH says, it would be fun and entertaining.

I think he will do well. I’d also recommend his book, superb read.
I’ve always liked Barton for some reason, behind the thuggish acts of violence I think he’s actually an intelligent bloke who really knows his football.
