Isn't this standard practice in Football, hence why you have to pay up the contract if you replace them.
The alternative is you keep paying them, but they can't take another job. That's why the two parties often agree a settlement, it's less than the full amount of the contract, but allows the outgoing manager to take another job.
I have heard of it but whether its standard practice or not I have no idea, makes sense though.

Mama Maamria!  Cheesy
He is now facing his Waterloo Cheesy

I also missed that Dean Keates had been appointed manager at Walsall after leaving Wrexham, I think if I was a Walsall fan I would have preferred Viveash.

Former Stevenage player, plus has followed Graham Westley around as assistant quite a lot, so quite a strong Stevenage pedigree there.

Not many dancing queens in Stevenage though Cheesy

Hmmm, hasn't Keates been in a role at Warsaw before? I think i'm inclined to agree!

Yeah I saw that when I googled him but prior to that not a name I had ever heard of.

Keates is born and bred Walsall, played for them for 7 years too.

I guess the winner takes it all.

Setting aside the fact that I hadn't noticed that Robinson had left franchise about 18 months ago, he has an overall win rate of c.40% which is not too bad at these sorts of levels, I fear to say but sounds like a pretty sensible appointment for the noisy fuckers up the road.

I see Sol Campbell is at it again, the man has a massive chip on his shoulder.

That was a cracking goal, I had no idea he was the one who scored it, a great atmsphere that day, one of my dads last ever Swindon games he attended before he died in 2010.

That is excuding all the games he has been sat under the goal at the Town End ever since then!

That was a great game. Clayton Ince was geeing up the town end after the equaliser, and when everyone realised we were both going up we started celebrating the goal.
