Sacked a week before the Play-Offs last season but I recall the players being quite happy about it.

Speaking of Cooper which we weren't exactly....see FGR drew 5-5 with Torquay the other day. Can't be too many managers with two 5-5 draws on their CV.

FGR seem to be having quite a blip lately, with no wins in 6 league games. I wonder how long it'll be before Cooper starts saying it's other peoples' fault.

I suspect he'll be shown the door soon.

Which was just a few days after the Boxing Day 4-3 defeat to the same team. Can't be many teams that have shared 17 goals between them in the space of about 3 days. Anyone who went to both matches can't complain about not getting their money's worth. Unless they were scouting defenders, possibly

Reading the FGR forum, hes not endearing himself to thier fans, a lot of that comes from his post match comments blaming everyone except himself for the draws/defeat (mostly the referees)....sounds familiar! I spoke to one of their fans just after his appointment and they tried to tell me he was one of the highest rated managers in the lower leagues and that Swindons route to the play offs under him was because of his management skills alone. Their owner is not known for his patience with under performing managers (in his eyes) so a few more poor results and he could be gone. On an aside note I see the OTIB forum are now saying about how shit a manager Lee Johnson is less than 6 months after he was the new messiah, abut to go on to greater things and manage in the Premier league....how fickle fans are at pretty much all clubs.
