Notts may just about be saved by Newport and Cheltnumb going down, or possibly Accrington, but it may be close.  Possibly a bit too early yet to think about the make up of Div 4 for next season, and our potential adversaries therein.

Genuine question - are you ever up-beat about anything?

Yes. Life generally. However my passion for STFC, doesn't mean I have to take a flight from reality. This season we've been shit and as yet there's little evidence for an improvement.

Our 2 visits to Div 4 in the 21st Century, tell us we're quite capable of making that journey.....personally I'd rather Cheltnumb and Newpport stay up, and some norvern sides drop. Barrow are going well in the Conference, not automatic comtenders, but wouldn't mind seeing them up through the PO's. Never been to Holker Street.

Whereabouts?  We have close friends who live at Cartmel Fell and whenever we stay we go to Barrow or Morecambe.  Really pleased to see Barrow doing so well, they were close to going bust a few years ago.

Ever stop at the Masons Arms?  Everyone else really raves about it which I understand but still think it's overrated.

And coach Wayne Hatswell.  Local lad famous for an FA Cup own goal...  Related to Alex Henshall.

We drove through Flookburgh on the way to the (somewhat disappointing) Laurel & Hardy museum in Ulverston last year. Mind you, I love the Booths there, my favourite shop for good food and beers.

That's harsh made him wait a long time while he was caretaker to make him perm manager and then he was only allowed to sign about 1 player

Booths is a bit pricey, although its great for beer, supposed to be opening one in Grange over Sands shortly which will be most handy!
