Conor McNamara on 5Live had a cracker of a stat earlier - Leeds have had 6 managers since Jack Wilshere last played 90 minutes for Arsenal. Not sure who that says more about!

Ronald Koeman going to Everton.

Lots of Saints fans unhappy in my neck of the woods.

Usual stuff, calling him "Judas", saying he has sold out for the almighty dollar etc.  Seems like no Saints fan would take a sideways step into a new job for a nice payrise.

They have been a pretty deluded lot for a few seasons now

Just like "Judas" Walcott leaving STFC for the almighty dollar at Southampton I suppose ...

Interestingly at Bolton they have their managerial candidates down to Steve Cotterill or Nigel Pearson but and going to make a decision in the next few weeks, surely that is leaving it v late for player recruitment for the the manager to arrange pre-season, wonder if all is not well with their new consortium.

Adkins, not Pearson.

The Bolton board probably phoning around to see if Cotterill is worth tolerating...

I did think the rumours of Giggs to Bolton were a bit pie in the sky.

Cotterill, Adkins and Pearson seem more likely to take a punt on managing them(rather than the other way round), less reputation to damage early in the career like Giggs would be.

I guess when theres a chance of appointing a UEFA Champions League winning manager in Di Matteo then I think I may have overlooked him too TBH.
