People often say that about working for megalomaniac owners, but if you can get a decent wedge when he inevitably sacks you what harm can it do? After all if you do well you'll be seen as someone who can cope under difficult circumstances, and if you don't you can always say "it's not surprising, working for that prick" Wink

Monk going there!?

Must be mad if he does.

They won't be paying in chicken feed, any morals I have would be tested by the money on offer in football I imagine, as would any consideration about how good or bad an employer  I'd be working for.

Evans officially gone from Leeds, managed 7 months which is a decent shift under Cellino

Evans whose reputation is toxic, has been rehabiliated by Cellino. Impressive.

Is that fact or speculation? This suggests it was a longer term rolling thing http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34570202 so at best he will have got a months money?

Next manager needs to be aware, but as Cellino seems to only hire out of work mangers who may be a little deparate to get back into the game I suppose he can impose terms on them.

Looks like Cellino actually has a similar view of Evans as many fans http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/steve-evans-future-at-leeds-united-in-doubt-after-fresh-outburst-from-massimo-cellino-1-7858820 although he obviously cannot tell the difference between English and Scottish!

Better than the atkins diet working at Leeds. I reckon Evans has probably lost a stone for every month he was there.

Quote
In an outspoken interview, Cellino claimed that he had told Jose Mourinho “if you had the balls, you would come and manage Leeds.”

I'm actually starting to like the guy to be honest.

Well obviously  Cheesy but I both despise Leeds and feel we've already had our lunatic Italian share fulfilled.

Now that is an odd one, especially as Cellino stated publicly that he cannot work with English managers and I cannot imagine Monk is that desperate?

He's only been given a 1 year contract anyway so in theory it is probably 6 months

Di Matteo takes the reins at Villa with Steve Clarke his No 2

I think that is now only the Port Vale managers job vacant
